Example of a 4 year payback on a 49.72 kWp system based in the UK.

  • Based on South facing @ 15 degrees
  • Solar radiation of 1017 kWh with 44,497 kW per annum generation.
  • 3.5% Retail Price Index per annum
  • 100% energy usage based on a tariff of 13p per kWh, with a 8% fuel rise per year.
  • Installed cost of £110,000

Payback 4 years and with a total benefit over 25 years of £859,496
